Bounce 2 Breathe (Qld)

We were lucky enough to catch up with Bounce 2 Breathe and have a chat about their trampoline fundraising program and how it benefits Queensland schools and clubs!
What is Bounce 2 Breathe?
Bounce 2 Breathe (B2B) is a fundraising program that delivers a trampoline park experience to schools. More than that it is an opportunity for P&C/ P&F Associations to partner with Cystic Fibrosis Queensland to fundraise together.
How does the fundraiser work?
We deliver and set up a fleet of GeeTramp trampolines, hosted by qualified circus trainers to engage kids in a fun, healthy activity where every bounce raises funds for the school and our cause. We don’t require volunteers to help. All fundraising is online through our B2B portal. By partnering with CFQ all donations are tax-deductible.
After activation costs, fundraising is shared between CFQ and the host school – 30% to CFQ, 45% to the host school’s P & C Association.
This is also an opportunity for P&C Associations to engage with their local business community and get them involved.
How/Why was Bounce 2 Breathe created?
Cystic Fibrosis Queensland (CFQ) is the peak community not for profit charity working with and for people living with cystic fibrosis (CF) across Queensland, the Northern Territory and northern New South Wales. 90% of our income relies on fundraising. B2B was developed as a self-sustaining funding stream. Thanks to our charity partners GeeTramp, who donated a fleet of top quality trampolines, we were able to launch the pilot program in May 2018
How does the B2B program support Cystic Fibrosis Qld?
Cystic Fibrosis Queensland’s mission is ‘Lives unaffected by Cystic Fibrosis’ and we assist everyone affected by cystic fibrosis to live fuller, healthier lives. We fund research, provide information and education, and deliver support and service programs to people living with cystic fibrosis. We advocate for the entire cystic fibrosis community and seek to raise much-needed awareness of this debilitating condition. The B2B program provides essential fundraising so that we can continue our work.
