I am deeply proud to announce my appointment as an Ambassador for the Bears to School Program 2018.
Next week, I have the honour of attending the Anzac Day dawn service in Villers-Brettenoux in France. I will be extending a hand of friendship to our friends in France by presenting a number of Great War bears to schools that were built with money from the fundraising efforts of Australian school students. They are fascinating stories I can’t wait to share with you!
Please take the time to read about this wonderful program and I encourage you to register for information about inviting these beautiful bears into your school!

Great War bears are delightful and engaging and provide opportunities to support education, activities and commemorations. Each bear comes complete with an information booklet and a carry bag, which makes them perfect for a school’s home visit program.
These bears are perfectly-detailed collector’s items and will help children relate to lessons and activities associated with the final year of the 2014-2018 Centenary of Anzac.
Supporting Australia’s major military charities, including the Returned & Services League of Australia and Soldier On, Bears to School is an exciting whole-of-community program to get these special bears into every primary school.
